WHAT IT IS
==========

SuperStruct.exe - self extracting InstallShield setup

Windows 95 application.  With Online help.  Ole 2.0 Server.  With setup utility.


WHAT IT DOES
============

SuperStruct is a binary file translator.  It converts binary files to 
readable ascii text files (leaving original intact).  To convert a binary file,
write the structure of the binary file in SuperStruct's editor, then activate
the menu option File-Convert to choose the binary file(s) to convert.
Then view the results in SuperStruct's editor.  SuperStruct can be run as
a Ole Server.  For example, you can embed a SuperStruct object in a word
processor document or picture.

You can convert more than one binary file at a time.  Some examples of using
SuperStruct would be:

   1. converting tiff or bmp files to ascii files so you can read the bitmap header
      information. 

   2. converting wav or riff files to ascii to view recording speed, number of
      channels, etc.

   3. converting your proprietary binary files to ascii to verify information

   4. MOST OF ALL: to convert your proprietary binary files to ascii in the
      testing of your software to verify integrity of your binary structures
